In recent years, our government has organized and implemented a special project for manufacturing informatization to promote the development of design digitalization, manufacturing equipment digitalization, production process digitalization, management, and enterprise digitalization. Digital manufacturing technology has been applied in the logistics equipment manufacturing industry.
Damon Industry focuses on the manufacturing of conveying rollers for more than 20 years, providing nearly 10 million conveying rollers for many end-use industries such as new energy, airports, express delivery, e-commerce, tobacco, food, and manufacturing industries every year. In response to the national development trend of digital smart manufacturing, Damon Industry has accelerated the speed of enterprise informatization construction by increasing investment in recent years. From the past emphasis on hardware over software, design over management, and investment over the application, the informatization has changed to a two-pronged approach of a hardware environment and software environment, and the informatization construction of technical data management, marketing data management, production management, financial management, data security management, etc. have made great progress in enterprise informatization construction, and has been awarded as " Zhejiang Province Internet and Industrial Integration Innovation Pilot Enterprise".
The total investment of the construction project for the digital workshop of smart logistics equipment production is 70 million yuan. To improve the production scale of smart logistics equipment, the project covers an area of 16.6 acres, with 24,688 square meters of workshops and auxiliary rooms, the purchase of domestic equipment such as automatic pipe cutting equipment and automatic assembly machines, and the application of 3D design and simulation software, PDM/PLM, ERP, MES, supplier management platform and other information systems to realize the digital management of the whole process of product design, application, supply chain, processing, and assembly. After the completion of the project, it will increase production capacity by 50%, reduce product development time by 30%, improve production efficiency by 30% and reduce operating cost by 20%.
