The year 2020 of the Metal Rat should have brought us closeness and joy. Instead, the "new coronavirus" silently snuck into people’s houses.  Daily news reports: n confirmed cases, multiple suspected cases, multiple deaths and new cases. All of a sudden, the whole country got upset and everyone seemed to be in danger. This winter, the epidemic has been spreading, masks, city closures, road closures, village closures, work stoppages, school closures... the country has partially shut down. This sudden "new coronavirus" epidemic disrupted the work schedule of all the enterprises.

However, since it already happened, the only thing we can do is to face the virus and solve the outbreak, be strong and do our best. There are two things we have to look out for: prevention against the virus and resumption of production. While everybody was staying at home to prevent the virus spread, Damon Industry was setting up the details for work resumption: running around to purchase the necessary preventive and control items; working overtime to draft the epidemic preventive and control measures; strict checks, so to be able to implement prevention and control measures ; trying to find the most convenient solution for the employees who need to travel; providing information and documentation support for suppliers to understand the work resumption conditions; communicating with the government departments on many occasions, and coordinating ... under the leadership of President Cai, Damon Industry’s team got ready to welcome employees back to work. The effort was worth it, because Damon Industry was listed by the government as the first company to ensure a smooth return to work.    

Our editor interviewed some of the employees randomly, as they return to work:

I was actually afraid at the time. After all, the virus proved to be very strong, but the company's arrangements for epidemic prevention were meticulous and in place. The fact that government representatives acknowledged that we can safely return to work, gave me a sense of security. Ms. Cai herself and our colleagues from the personnel department taught us epidemic prevention and by doing that, they exposed to a lot of risks. The company has made all the epidemic prevention arrangements properly, taking care about every little detail. One by one, as they came back, all of the employees responded positively to the measures: measuring body temperature at work, keeping a distance of one meter when talking to each other, the lunch arrangements, etc. At the same time, our company proved to be very strong. After applying for returning to work, we needed to comply with our company’s policy and procedures and quickly complete as many work orders as possible.

During my stay at home, I was paying attention to policy changes and the company’s resumption arrangements. How could workers from other places like us return to work? During the long wait, I was very anxious. What made me very happy was that Huzhou 's policies were issued and implemented very quickly. Soon after, we waited for the company to call us back to work. The next step was to be issued a high-speed notification, to get a QR code, and finally a health code. In the process of resumption of work, we supported each other and we worked really hard. We all used virus prevention equipment and we worked together, including the grid team at the back. We had health check-ups at the beginning of the work day and at the end of the work day, the results were analyzed and recorded promptly, and everyone complied with the rules.

When I applied for resumption of work, I was very nervous and I worried about keeping everyone healthy. Even if I rushed ahead, I stand with you. I also know that I have no ability to protect all of you, but I can make you aware that you are taken care of. The company does not give up on none of its employees, it just takes some time. We will go through a very difficult time together. We can only do limited work for the time being. The company will coordinate the whole situation and I believe everyone would be able to understand and support us. In fact, compared to the ordinary people in Wuhan and to those soldiers in white, this is nothing. Let us wait together for spring to come.
