The system switching mode was officially started in Damon Industry ERP on January 16, 2020.
After going through the multiple stages including blueprint planning, process design, scheme confirmation, development and debugging, simulation test and parallel test, the ERP upgrading program started in early 2019 finally witnessed the final switching of set of accounts.
Establishment of basic data constitutes a new foundation for set of accounts. All information including processing route, work hour and labor cost, work center, drawing information, BOM information, cost information and verification information based on characteristics of products and configuration and centered around product data are entered into system after being repeatedly verified. Meanwhile, business partners and financial terminals centered around supply chain are completed synchronously.
The Company has confirmed to switch system before the New Year after weighing all aspects, trying to reduce influence on customers' production and receiving and having remained an adjustable space for possible abnormal situations. The entire switching plan is quite rigorous and precise:
Step I, get all things prepared before account closing: sort out all process data, compare new materials with previous materials, empty production process data, etc.
Step II, enter data into the new system: data entered include stock, in-transit goods and unfinished orders.
Since it involves numerous details and it may take an entire day to enter a complete set of business partner data, the entire process entry process is very difficult and lasts a long time.
Step III, conduct overall joint commissioning and finally confirm to start the new set of accounts.
Every step finished drives us closer to the final purpose. There is no grandiloquence, but a live action of exerting our utmost strength. Countless late nights locked our records and memories.
However, starting of the new set of accounts is just the starting of a new stage. We still need to constantly adapt and perfect to realize the preset target. The root of efforts made by all staff lies in enabling the new system to benefit all our customers and improve customers' competitiveness on the premise of enhancing management efficiency. Let’s go for it!
